Karousel breaks after disabling certain desktop effects, for example Overview or Present Windows.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable Overview desktop effect
  2. Trigger Overview
  3. Exit Overview
  4. Disable Overview
  5. Karousel is broken (can verify by trying to scroll or to un-tile and re-tile a window)
