[Bug] Karousel prevents windows from opening on other virtual desktops

Karousel version: 0.13 Plasma version: 6.3.5 X11 / Wayland: Wayland

Description: Window rules which dictate what virtual desktops to open windows on do not work under karousel.

Test case:

  1. Two virtual desktops
  2. Have Firefox open on virtual desktop 2 via a window rule
  3. While on desktop 1, open Firefox
  4. Firefox opens on desktop one

I also use window rules to make the windows open on certain virtual desktops, and it works as expected. Does it work for you with Karousel disabled?

it does indeed work with karousel deactivated, i'm unsure why it wouldn't work but it doesn't seem to

If someone knows how exactly Window Rules applies such a rule (Does it create the window immediately on the selected desktop? Does it create the window the current desktop, then move it to the selected desktop? Does it do something more involved?), please share it. :)

this bug seems to be fixed in kde 6.4.2, it seems to be a version specific interaction between the script and kwin
