selected tabs to new window?

Is it possible to act only on selected tabs (ctrl+click) instead of only tabs to the right of selected tabs? I want to take a couple tabs from the middle of my group of tabs & move them to a new window. Is that possible or do I just have to move them to the end first?

Chrome OS 91.0.4472.147 tab-resize: 2.3.5

I figured it out. I have to switch to the tab before those I want to move, then select the tabs I want to move.
