On reflection, I think that the two-parameter form of `the sha2digest` might be the way to go. It's unambiguous and easily extensible to future SHA standards

Please include the ISO C++ working group (ISO/IEC JTC1/SC22/WG21) as a specifically interested stakeholder. The MFWG outcomes will inform the design of future C++ standard library internationalisation features.
