Howdy Andrew: most people are using the thumbs_up fork of this project. It's Rails 3 compatible. I'll pull the forks back in sometime soon, but until then, you can use thumbs_up with Rails 3.x.

Thanks Pete, that looks like a great module as well. I switched to acts_as_votable already though. Seems adequate for me.
