We've just added full Proxy Support for OPAL, including for the Data Fetcher, Policy Engine and the OPAL Client <-> Server WebSocket connection. Checkout the tutorial for OPAL behind a Proxy
With this setup, it resolves the underlying requirement of this PR, making it obsolete. For that reason, I'll close this PR.
