В 43 версии это ещё возможно, в `about:config` надо поменять параметр `xpinstall.signatures.required` на `false`, но в следующих версиях его обещают убрать.

Does Gnome currently set this? I found it was not doing it in 2019 https://mail.gnome.org/archives/desktop-devel-list/2019-May/msg00088.html If yes, this would indeed be a good alternative. I think it will make sense...
It just seems like neither Gnome nor KDE support this currently :) So then this implementation would not benefit anyone until this is fixed upstream.
I can support his use case, I want to be able to run multiple fairly rarely used models on the same hardware, but not being able to unload them quickly...
I have the same issue with 24 GiB VRAM, but surprisingly setting batch size to 2 fixes it
I also figured out running out of VRAM doesn't happen if providing 1 or 2 reference images. Only when generating a fresh image, this issue happens.
