PS: resetting to factory default didn't solve the issue

Do you see the error on all 3 devices? Have you tried maybe upgrading the firmware? The add-on the first time is downloading a huge backlog, maybe after a few reboots and or restarts , the error will be gone...

Sew also this one, he was able to resolve with a reset...

https://github.com/pergolafabio/Hikvision-Addons/issues/178

I think it's firmware related maybe

pergolafabio avatar Apr 23 '24 19:04 pergolafabio

Ciao Fabio, yes it's a common thing on all of the 3 devices, I tried resetting one but no luck. Firmware is the latest available for that model which is kind of old...

it works great on DS-KV6113-WPE1(C)

Many thanks

Hmm , then I'm out of ideas :-( Maybe you can ask on the community forums to see if other People succeeded with this device?

pergolafabio avatar Apr 24 '24 04:04 pergolafabio

Did you manage to get it to work?

pergolafabio avatar May 05 '24 05:05 pergolafabio

Hello, thanks for the follow up no, looks like an issue with the device and not with your code

attilhacks avatar May 05 '24 06:05 attilhacks

Ah ok, what was the issue? Maybe interesting for other people?

pergolafabio avatar May 05 '24 06:05 pergolafabio

no idea, the device jus throws Error code:28 but wasn't able to find the problem :-(
I will get back to it when I have more time anyways.

thanks
