Question about integration with Grafana OSS

Hello,

We are working with OSS PPM, we implement and things is amazing especially QAN, but we are asking ourselves, if we can use some external Grafana and Victoria Metrics? Why I'm asking this because our company has great features in our corporative grafana to alarm ans show metrics, and we'd like only to plug PMM in this Grafana OSS

Hi @JalisDiehl, we are working on giving ability to use external Victoria metrics. it's going to be possible in one of upcoming versions as tech preview. regarding grafana we don't have plans for it as far as I know.

I hope you're doing well. While it is technically possible to incorporate external PMM components such as Grafana and VictoriaMetrics, it is not currently a fully supported feature of PMM. These capabilities are only available or will be available for technical use and not as a comprehensive solution.

If you're facing an issue, I suggest you explore more reliable options to resolve it. Here are a couple of recommendations:

1. Consider using Federation, which can be accessed from https://www.percona.com/blog/percona-monitoring-and-management-and-datadog-integration/. You can choose any Grafana/Prometheus instance instead of DD.
2. Customize the Grafana that comes with PMM to fit your requirements.
