r command not working in Level 4

Current behavior: I have obtained "r". I stand on the character crossed out with the letter "c" indicating the char to replace it with. I type "r c". The character "l" is not replaced with c, the bubble showing characters typed just fades. Expected: when I press "r c" the character "l" should be replaced by the letter "c" Screen Shot 2021-06-04 at 9 06 40 PM
