flickering screen and no input

Open QuantumRevenger opened this issue 9 years ago • 5 comments

This application is 100% broken on Remix OS 3.0 and just flickers every other frame on input. The window cannot be moved and freezes the window manager with it.

This is the only application I have ever installed that has actually caused a problem and been unusable; so I believe the issue is with this application itself.

So desperate, there is a cash reward for a fix of £25.00 (or upto £50.00 to improve this apps visual design, and get it working in Remix OS fully.)

Don't count on a quick fix from me, I am busy with my job, sorry. I suspect the issue might be in graphical drivers, because XSDL works fine on other devices, like Nexus phones. It also runs okay on ChromeOS Android compatibility layer, at least on Chromebook Flip.

What hardware are you using?

AMD 7850K with 8 GB DDR3 RAM, integrated graphics. It runs 3D Mark benchmark with an average of 30 FPS ES3.0 and no graphical glitches. If you need anything to fix it, let me know and I'll report back, really want to move away from Windows 10 after latest update.

Could you please try some other SDL-based apps, like OpenTTD or XRick?

I've tried with a random RemixOS Virtualbox image from the net, and both XSDL and Debian Noroot fail to update the screen, however SuperTux works fine.
