xsever issue with samsung galaxy
when I attempt to run this app on my phone, no matter what it always fails saying that xsever failed to start. due to SElinux. idk how to fix or how to do anything with it.
This can be for various reasons. Could you please capture ADB logs when the app is starting? On Jun 6, 2015 8:46 AM, "depore" [email protected] wrote:

not exactly sure how to do this, I went and installed aLogcat put it in debug mode for errors and then ran Xsever. this is what iv gotten so far. if you know a better app to use or a better setting thru this app then let me know and ill try and get you better logs --------- beginning of main --------- beginning of system E/SELinux ( 4058): [DEBUG] get_category: variable seinfo: default sensitivity: NULL, cateogry: NULL E/ViewRootImpl( 4058): sendUserActionEvent() mView == null E/ViewRootImpl( 4058): sendUserActionEvent() mView == null E/ViewRootImpl( 4058): sendUserActionEvent() mView == null E/ViewRootImpl( 4058): sendUserActionEvent() mView == null
aLogcat won't work on Android 4.0 and newer, you need to use adb logcat command on PC. Adb is a tool from Android developer SDK. On Jun 7, 2015 6:43 PM, "depore" [email protected] wrote:

oh ok, might take me a while to do this. I really don't know a lot when it comes to this stuff. ill post again later when I make some progress
It's okay, I myself won't fix that bug immediately, because free time is scarce for everyone. On Jun 7, 2015 8:17 PM, "depore" [email protected] wrote:

I never expected you to insta fix it ;p. but I appreciate the help. the one thing I do know is I have a gs4 with lollipop 5.0.1 and the Xsever XSDL works fine on it, but my gs6 is 5.0.2 and it has the problems. idk if that little bit of info might help or not but I figured id mention it.
What variant are these devices? International/Exynos or US/Snapdragon?
