SuperTux doesn't start after editing command line parameters

I tried adding --developer to the command line parameters for SuperTux.

Upon doing so, SuperTux doesn't start anymore. I have to reset configs to default in order to fix it. Even deleting the --developer argument and saving again doesn't fix it.
