keyboard doesn't work on Windows, works on Linux

device: sm-j320fu, kernel https://github.com/djeman/android_kernel_samsung_sharkls/tree/cm-13.0 with a few patches by me for personal use.

using hid-gadget-test or the app, I can successfully send keyboard keys on Linux, but not on Windows 7. using the app, I can send mouse events on both Linux and Windows.

how can I resolve this issue?

🥳 An Windows 10 Update fixed it (generic 3.18 patch here)
