would you say it is possible to use this file system on a stm32 in one sector?

Hi, no. Absolute minimum is at least two sectors IIRC. There must be room for garbage collection.

okay but with two sectors it should be possible. I am wondering if I can use a flash filesystem and msgpack to store some data.
