Where can you even download the dedicated server files. And thos install doc url does lead to a forum not a install page / documentation

It looks like the server files are in the game files. I don't see this being easy to run.

yes I updated the link, zap hosting rent the servers Myth of Empires

Zap hosting also runs windows server to host their servers. Which pterodactyl only runs on linux.

i tried it in past, but never got it really working.

next Thing is; you must own the Game to download the server

MOE server ID is 1794810 no need to own game

I attached the default Server Startup Script and options file. basically you would add any options that deviate from the default setting to the startup args

Also in the zip an egg I started based off of the Palworld one, but brand new to this so a bit lost

Got a bit further, create the attached egg, which will install the server, but runs into an issue, first with steamclient.so not being found. SO yes, progress.. but still not running..

Maybe it is something to start from for someone who is able to make this work. I may try again once I have a bit more knowledge/understanding.. Does seem the server is chomping on memory quite heavily.. egg-myth-of-empires.json

Damn I have not idea where to start with eggs but Im so glad to here someone likes the game enough to want to help the community. If you ever come up with a working method please please let me know and thank you for all your hardwork!

I am not sure what I am doing. All I did was look into the ARK: Survival Ascended egg. I cut and edited paulheu egg.json, but I do not have a game to test it. It seems to be running, but it unable to register the server to prod-private-list-myth.angelagame.com

I believe we need two ports for game_port and query_port. The server is listed in the custom server, and I can join as an admin. I am unsure of what will occur when others join the server.

Not gonna look into this until weekend.
