Working on localhost on my peerjs server
Default peerjs server 0.peerjs.com works on localhost but my default heroku peerjs server doesnt work. I want my own server to work on localhost. What should I do?
it returns Lost connection to server.
I am not putting anything on port but its 443. Do ı need to make it null?
I know this is a very old issue, but I thought I'd document this since I had the same issue. You can configure your client to specify the host and port.
Server:
const peerServer = ExpressPeerServer(server, { path: "/" })
app.use("/peer", peerServer)
Client:
const peer = new Peer({
path: "/peer",
host: "localhost",
port: "8000"
})
