Will this work with static websites generated through rmarkdown?

Hello. Thanks for creating this package. I know very little about web development and your package makes creating pwa really simple.

My question is if there is a way to use the package to change static rmarkdown created website (eg distill) into pwa? Or the concept only works with dynamic content such as shiny?

thank you.

Hi!

Currently this is only for shiny, but it should be possible to add pwa functionality to any static generated html, it would require some tweaks to the current API (probably its own function that outputs the scripts to the correct folder).

I will add this to the backlog for now as a possible enhancement :)

Thanks for the reply. I remembered your package again while working on a small static website using the r distill package. If you can modify your package in the future to work with distill websites or rmarkdown websites, I believe this will be a great addition as these packages are widely used by r users to generate their own websites. I plan on updating a shiny app soon and will try to implement using your package to change into PWA. I am sure I will have more questions then.
