Best way to interact with the project

I would like to use the project to implement a more complex relay. What is the best approach to cooperating with the project? Can I suggest changes to Vostro to have more configuration features as possible, or is Vostro's objective to be simple and just serve as an example?

Have any performance tests been done with the Vostro?
