A player made this suggestion "Player hall of fame, in addition to total numbers for each stat, have an additional column that is 'total / time played'. This would allow newer players to achieve medals and also not just reward those that have played longer"

If medals should be acquired for this, what exactly would you want me to do? Add an option that says "rate rather than amount" and have the update count only that, or actually build a parallel world of medals where rate is counted instead of amount and you can switch it in the browser?

It's a big difference, because if you want people to be able switch views in the browser, every stat basically needs to exist twice, because the rankings could be completely different.
