Usage of Plan webserver rather than Dynmap or others

I have been reading through the readme and this seems like exactly what I have been looking for. I don't have Dynmap or any other similar to the server, and no real plans to install it. But I do have Plan installed on the server which has a webserver. It is for seeing stats and things as to how many players have been online, PvP details, etc. But I am wondering if this will work with Minecraft stats, and if it will, how do I go about installing it?
