HL-L2312D prints garbage

with the 2310D series driver I see something like the attached. Additionally requestin a self-test page from CUPS results in

Print Self-Test Page
Print Self-Test Page Brother_HL-L2312D Error

Unable to send command to printer driver:

    Unsupported document-format "application/vnd.cups-command".

This is Fedora 38, printer-driver-brlaser-6.2.6-1.fc38.x86_64

@akostadinov was the issue resolved when you updated to Owl-Maintain/brlaser v6.2.7?

No idea, I'm still using the proprietary driver.
