Okay, I updated the core. Tested only with MSX BASIC and Metal Gear 2 *.mx2 image, so please check that everything else is working properly.
Have you used snes9x2010?
I confirmed that bug personally. It causes snes9x2010 to create 5 MB savestates. https://github.com/libretro/snes9x2010/issues/84
