Hi, I'am a newbie programmer so I use the cookbook on a regular basis as it is easier to follow than the GDAL python API documentation. I imagine differences I have been noting have to do with differences in GDAL 1x and 2x? Is the code presented here compatible with 2x? Any plans on updating the cookbook to GDAL 2 if this is not the case? If not, would you recommend other tutorials?

I've even noticed that reprojection doesn't work anymore in gdal version 3.0.2
