Gmaps support in Jupyter Notebooks in Databricks
Hi,
I've tried using gmaps inside Databricks but the clusters stop running pythonn, resuming normal behaviour when I delete gmaps. Do you know if this can be made to work? the errors I get are:

Thanks for raising this. Answers to the following would be helpful so I can get a better picture.
-
You seem to be getting a lot of errors related to
nbconvert
. Any thoughts on why that would be? Were you running nbconvert? -
What version of the notebook does Databricks run? Posting a screenshot of Help > About in the Jupyter menu would be useful.
-
Does ipywidgets work? If you run
import ipywidgets as widgets; widgets.IntSlider()
, what do you see? (you may need topip install ipywidgets
). -
How did you install gmaps? With pip or from conda-forge?
