support create-project command

For downloading complete apps it would be nice to have a possibility to specify a composer.json or even URL from a repository.

yes both ideas are good, thx ! not sure how it could be design/UI speaking, any idea ?

You could rename the "Go" button to "Update" and add another button "Create Project". Or use radio buttons for "Update" or "Create Project" and keep the "Go" button.

but in "Create project" case, the textarea is useless, no ? or I am missing something maybe..

Yeah, sorry you're right ... you need the vendor/package-name, so I'd go with tabs, eg. add one next to composer.json only thing to enter would be the vendor/package-name from packagist.
