Also, I see that both your fork and jruby's master are targeting Rails ~> 7.2.2. Is there no way to target builds against Rails 8?

It is dying with this coredump, and `sddm-helper-start-wayland` says something about an invalid pointer: 

`ujust update` fixed it for me!

I did figure it out eventually. It was a bit tricky. I forgot about this issue, and I no longer have access to that project. It is possible!!
