manuell deleting backups that are no longer needed

Open Berni-MD opened this issue 6 years ago • 6 comments

I don't have access to the installation because I am using a hosted nextcloud. Since my storage space is not unlimited, I have to clean up a bit.

Therefore 3 questions:

  1. If I remove the app, will the backups be removed as well?
  2. Deleting older backups from the web interface would be a good idea.
  3. Where exactly are the backups stored? In the App directory?

Deleting older backups from the web interface would be a good idea.

You can simply remove the backup sub-folders you don't want to keep any more.

Thank you for this app! I am using a hosted NC instance (at Hetzner) with no direct access to the data/ownbackup directory. Is there a way to delete old files? The folder is getting quite big… :)

No, sorry. Pull requests welcome. 😁

Still nothing from the UI (which should be fine for everyone having direct access to datadir/ownbackup folder).
