USB Connection Error. Is the Contour Next Link plugged on?
- Uploader Version Number: BG1370331B
- Your Android Phone Model Name (e.g. Samsung J1 Ace): Samsung galaxy j5
- Android Version Number (e.g. use 4.4 for 4.4.4): 7.1.1
- Network Connection at the time the issue occurred (Wi-Fi, Mobile): WI-FI
- (if relevant) Nightscout website version (e.g. 0.8.4 Funnel cake, master / dev branch): 0.7.3
CANNOT FIND THE PHONE OTG, EVEN SHOWED BEFORE

How long have you had the USB OTG cable? is it possible that it has worn out?

The OTG cable is new, but I bought another one that doesn't work either.
If this phone has worked previously and you think the cable is good, the phones usb socket may now be bad. The internal data connections can get chewed up from constant charging wear.

Same problem here: I have a s7 on inductive charging. There is always a charging and otg conflict, but it usually gets solved by replacing the phone on the charger. The conflict usually appears only one time per changing cycle. But this morning it is persistent: “usb connection error”... tried to restart app/phone, unplug/plug, cable is good...
Problem solved: it was the Contour Next Link that died, at least the communication chip inside. The BG measurement and charging still works on it... Thanks anyways!
