Bug Report: NullPointerException raised by getUserPrincipal() after a successful FORM Authentication/FISH-6509

Description

Migratng programs from Payara 4.1.2.1 to Payara 5.2022.2 shows the following issue in Payara 5: SecurityContext object injected by @Context annotation in JAX-RS rest bean randomly appear empty in Payara Server 5.2022.2 (build 306), raising a NullPointerException when trying to getUserPrincipal().

Expected Outcome

In the above context, a NPE should not be thrown.

Current Outcome

NPE is randomly thrown when running the small test webapp in this github repository: https://github.com/DavideB/Payara5test.git

Steps to reproduce

Run the small test webapp in the github repository: https://github.com/DavideB/Payara5test.git following the instructions in the README.MD file

Environment

• Distribution: Server Full Profile
• JDK Version: 8 u231 - Oracle
• Operating System: Windows 10
