[Feature Request] Reset search bar input

It'll be nice to reset automatically after I input some text and click on a shortcut.

Now it's like this:

1. Search something
2. Click/Enter and a new tab it's opening.
3. After closing the new tab, the search bar it's filled with what I typed.

What I mean:

1. Search something
2. Click/Enter and a new tab it's opening.
3. Close the new tab, the search bar to be clear and ready to input again.

I like this, and have been thinking about it, but I'm not sure any one tab can know whether another is closed or not. Also, I think people open multiple tabs and unless the new tab was closed you would still have to delete it.

I think the two solutions are (Not my favorite) to add a simple "Clear" or "X" button or (which would be better IMHO) clear the search bar once the "Enter" key is used or when a link has been clicked.
