Gave it a quick try, must say it's growning on me, a lot of user-testing and some of the cleanups wrt settings naming should be done. Can't say for sure...
I don't think we need compatibility here, I would just display the app name on the POS.
I think it's just text, no need to be worried about it, App Name is Display name on POS, worst case they can change the text back.
Sure that can help, i still think these specific examples should be a bit more visible in the API for devs who want to get immediately started. Perhaps just linked...
