object converted and imported correctly. But Houdini shows a warning "JSON ERROR[13897569]: Missing type qualifier for UT_Options value (near byte offset 13897569, line 597522, column 33)" and .geo file is about 50 times of the Alembic file.

I thing this warning is some new requires of Houdini geo format. My exporter is very old and was updated too long time ago. Maybe some new standards is not supported. JSON file is just text file with many invisible characters (spaces and new line). Alembic is optimized binary file. Ofc size difference may be huge. It is depended from situation.
