Eclipse 4.4.0.M3 has nothing new about this.

I got simpler idea, is there Eclipse 4.x option to open a View in Editor area?

The idea is already implemented in https://github.com/nicoulaj/idea-markdown  That is based on https://github.com/sirthias/pegdown

Alternatively, maybe just new Markdown Editor based on pegdown would do. Eclipse Markdownm Editor by Daniel Winterstein is based on MakdownJ library that is still for long time. https://github.com/myabc/markdownj Though...

By default I have all files shown, and I encourage everyone to disable filters on project files. Please reopen #51 that is user oriented. And see if more people ask...
