Don't "quikly click "check for update" more thank 10 times"

The crash is probably just because the settings dialog is closed when an update request completes with a response. Low priority unless lots of people run into this. I once...

Fresh install of v0.3.40 on MacOS M4 Pro (MacBook Pro) and, per OP, Twitch is not letting me sign in saying "Your browser is not currently supported":

@steveseguin WebSocket of 0.3.40 was also failing for me with the same error. Confirmed 0.3.42 is successfully logging in to Twitch now.
