Compile less resources during war

Would it be possible to compile less resources during the war process instead of during startup of the app? I'm using Twitter bootstrap (the LESS version) and I plan to deploy on Heroku but 15 seconds to initialize and compile my less files is sometimes pushing my app startup time over the 60 sec boot timeout.
