Chat windows often don't appear entirely

A lot of the time, the floating chat windows (direct messages) don't appear visually at all, despite being technically an open window as far as the OS can tell. This happens both when the other party or myself initiate the conversation. This leads to a situation under which I can't actually communicate, which is particularly annoying when trying to pick up an automated order from a trading bot, because without acknowedgling the trade by chat I can't actually get them into a trade mode.

OS: Debian Desktop environment (for Linux): ChromeOS Graphics card: Integrated Intel UHD620

Is it happening with desktop emulation enabled as well? You can activate it using `./run-mtgo --winecfg > Graphics: image
