No in game sound

Open nick42d opened this issue 1 year ago • 4 comments

When running with ./run-mtgo --sound, I get the startup music, but no further sound. In game settings have sound cranked all the way up, so I should be getting sound when tapping lands, drawing cards etc.

Apart from that, works flawlessly and seems to run quicker than it did for me on Windows, so thanks for your efforts!

I also seem to get the same now, not even getting the startup music. Tested some additional scenarios since I last posted:

  • docker-mtgo --sound and Lutris image on EndeavourOS (PC)
  • docker-mtgo --sound on and Lutris image Pop_OS! (Clevo Laptop)

No sound at all under any of these.

I am also getting zero sound when running a fresh install on Mint, not sure what the problem is. I've gotten a new docker image and made sure to run with --sound, as well as check --winecfg to make sure it has the correct output device selected.

Runs fantastic, and faster than Windows. Just really would like sound. Not sure why this is referencing ALSA when it should be using Pulse, though? Either way, attached is the terminal output log:
