Grocy Android gives blank page when trying to connect to own server and hangs
With fresh installed Grocy Android (3.3.2 of 6.9.2023) shows blank screen when trying to connect to own server. A previously installed version was de-installed before hand. Connection to demo server works. Smartphone is Samsung S9+ with Android 9.
Could you please post a screenshot or video here? I can't imagine where the page is empty and what is still displaying.
Please find the requested screenshots attached.
One shows the page trying to connect to the server, the other is the blank page.
I hope this helps.
Does it work if you toggle the navigation animation type in appearance settings (you can tap on the gear icon)?
I tried the Demo-Sever as well, that gave a blank screen, two. But after stopping the app, and a fresh start of the app, the demo server worked. And I tried the proposed setting(FAQ) for android 9 devices (mine is version 9) to swipe for page switches, but this has no influence. On the page "Willkommen bei Grocy Android" (see screenshot) also the two buttons on the right (settings and info) also lead to blank pages and hanging of the app. The other three work as expected showing the help, feedback, and link to the browser selection, respectively.
Hey guys - I'm experiencing the same issue on my Pixel 8. I've tried the following with no change in behavior: restarting my phone, reinstalling the app, restarting my grocy container, toggling the navigation animation type
Attached is a video showing the app hanging indefinitely after I add a new key

Works right away after reverting to 3.3.2
@patzly Maybe the login problem is related to changes in 42c439629121c46562585ae7c8cbd32bdcf607a8?
To add, I updated after logging in and everything was working okay, until I tried to scan a barcode and it hung. I needed to downgrade again for the barcode scanner to work
Just wanted to comment that the current Play Store version (3.4.something) does not work with latest Grocy. I updated manually via github and now it is working.
Is it possible to push the current 3.5.0 to Play Store? I think a lot of people become discouraged when the login fails and will give up rather than research :-)
@AleXSR700 Thanks! The newest version is available now.
