Scanning a unique barcode on "Product" (Consume, Inventory etc. ) still gives selection list

Whenever I choose something from "Products" on the main page, i.e. "Consume" or "Inventory?" (German: Inventur), tap into the product field and then scan the barcode with the hardware scanner, I always see some different products in a list from which I need to choose the correct one.

This is a bit confusing as the EAN in the field is unique - why does Grocy offer me more products for selection instead of directly picking the right one?

In quick scan mode the same product works without a selection list - but sometimes a "Verbrauch" via the "Products" section is more comfortable, i.e. in case you consume more than one item of the product.

BTW: It would be even more helpful, if the focus by tapping on "Inventur", "Verbrauchen" etc. in the Products section would be directly in the product entry field, so the hardware scanner can be directly used without the need of tapping into the product field first the get the cursor in there.

Are you sure that the hardware scanner inserts the right barcode without any additional characters? If the barcode would be valid and assigned to a product, the product should simply be inserted.
