Error installing steamcmd app "No subscription"
When trying to run 7daystodie.cmd for the first time, I get the following error:
Connecting anonymously to Steam Public...OK Waiting for client config...OK Waiting for user info...OK app_update 294420 validate ERROR! Failed to install app '294420' (No subscription) quit SteamCMD failed to complete. Retrying...
It seems Steam wants an actual user login now?
I learned that changing line 15 of the psm1 for the server "Login username used by SteamCMD" will prompt for my password and MFA code. I think it's cached or tokenized for a period of time. Is this the expected workflow going forward, and do we have to watch for it asking for a password / MFA prompting again from SteamCMD sometime in the future?
That is odd, the server application should not require login. This is even stated in the configuration of the object on steam. https://steamdb.info/app/294420/info/
