I am using a monospace font, in fact I'm using [Meslo LG](https://github.com/andreberg/Meslo-Font). It seems to me that the problem is the way that whitespace is generated. 

Those are good hints, will check it out later today when I get some time. I saw the source earlier, I don't have a really good grasp on blessed so...

If anyone has an idea how one would go about doing this, I might have some time to put together a pull request. 🤞

Check out [leaflet-geoman](https://github.com/geoman-io/leaflet-geoman). It practically does everything leaflet-draw does and then some. Plus it's not, you know, abandoned.

Interestingly, all Shiftit commands work if the window being manipulated is the same app as the one in Full Screen mode. Example steps to replicate: 1. Maximize a Chrome window....
