SyntaxError

I tried to used your version with the Github version as of 2.5.2013. This gives me the following error:

not really, currently running on a private dev host

maybe that's the reason for your problems since the plugin doesn't work properly on the "file:" protocol or the "localhost" domain name.

I am accessing the site of course through http but I can not expose the current setup to the public for investigations. But anyway...I replaced your fork with the official Heise implementation which is working for me.

That's interesting - I had expect the heise version to fail as well. Anyway - I'd still apprechiate any information on how to reproduce your problem if you find the time. If I use the demo that's included, it seems to work fine in Chrome Canary 27.
