Relabeling this issue as I created a new area for Backup&Restore issues (as this isn't exactly a Settings issue per se).

This is mostly personal preference. The current behavior is synced with Gboard's in terms of keyboard popup cancellation, but I guess I can add a toggle for this behavior.
