Option+o not working anymore

Option+o is not working anymore all of a sudden, whereas Option+Shift+o still works. I tried to use ShortcutDetective to check whether some other app is hijacking Option+o, according to it there is no app using this shortcut.

I reinstalled your keyboard layout, but the issue persists. I am wondering if anyone is having the same issue and if there is a fix.

Also no issues in my systems. The only annoyance is that macOS sometimes switches to another layout. It help to keep the keyboard layout in the task bar.

Since Sonoma, this happens to me at least once a week — and you can't even show/hide the menu bar dropdown from this point on. Any hints on what might cause this?

Same, Sonoma keeps switching my layout around, so now I keep the input settings in the menu bar. As for option+o, I started implementing this with BetterTouchTool since I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working anymore. But this is not ideal.

Are you guys using Parallels? Just found the culprit — You have to disable Keyboard Synch https://kb.parallels.com/115200
