feature request: reuse active tab

To make it perfect, could it also allow the old behaviour via a custom shortcut?

Basically, let the plugin invert default behaviour, without losing the variety of tools available to user. No plugin: click = same tab, Ctrl+click = new tab. With plugin: click = new tab, Ctrl+click = same tab.

Why? Because sometimes (like 25% of the time) I’d actually want to reuse active tab
