moving Thumbnails VS. moving windows question?

###Description of the problem When moving windows between desktops, overview is activated automatically. When moving thumbnails between desktops, it is not activated.

Is this intentional? It feels inconsistent, as both basically serve the same purpose. Gut feeling says: probably not changing automatically to overview is better as it saves a click most of the time (for me anyway).

Moving thumbnail windows to another workspaces mimics Gnome Shell's workspace slider (at least when it was implemented). This probably isn't necessary though. It may be more consistent to move thumbnail windows the same way as thumnail app icons.
