Extension for limiting multiple-page scroll in Applications screen (side request)

This is a side request-- can you implement a similar function to prevent multiple-workspace scrolling (already in the Dash-to-Dock extension) on the Gnome Shell Applications page? To prevent scrolling over multiple application pages in one gesture. This is probably better as a new extension,but maybe can be bundled into dash2dock...

Look at the bottom of the General tab in the Preferences dialog and you'll find a checkbox entitled 'Prevent multiple workspace switching when using touchpad to scroll'. I believe this is what you're requesting.

Just read your request again and realized I misunderstood what you were asking. You're wanting an additional feature that prevents scrolling multiple app pages in the Gnome Shell application overview. I agree that this feature belongs in a separate extension.
