Incompatibility with multi-monitor-add-on

Open highvoltage opened this issue 7 years ago • 2 comments

###Linux Distribution version

Debian unstable

###Gnome Shell version

3.26.1

###Xorg or Wayland (or both)

Xorg

###Extension version or branch

44_3.26

###Description of the problem

When the multi-monitors-add-on extension is enabled, no scaling of windows is drawn when switching to the Activities overview. The top of the current window just gets chopped off. Not sure if it's an issue in workspaces-to-dock, or in multi-monitors-add-on.

###Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Install both workspaces-to-dock and https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/921/multi-monitors-add-on/
  2. Visit the Activities overview by moving the mouse cursor to the top left corner, screen will become slightly garbled/outdated.

This is a duplicate of issue #80 and issue 40 of multi-monitors-add-on (https://github.com/spin83/multi-monitors-add-on/issues/40#issuecomment-280945388)

Currently, the two extensions are not compatible (at least the functionality of placing the thumbnail slider on multiple monitors).
