Looks like the latest https://www.npmjs.com/package/@walletconnect/web3-provider/v/1.8.0-rc.0 fixed it? We are not experiencing the limit anymore.

The only difference I can see with my integration and the example one is that on the example it only asks to connect and that's it. Meanwhile on my integration...
